Draft launch policy. This document describes how The Daily Source intends to operate and will be reviewed before formal launch. It is not legal advice and does not create obligations beyond applicable law. Last revised at launch preparation.

Accuracy

We aim to confirm facts with primary sources or multiple independent sources before publishing. Unconfirmed information is labeled as such.

Fairness

People and organizations facing serious allegations should be given a reasonable opportunity to respond before publication.

Attribution

We identify sources whenever possible and explain why when we grant anonymity.

Visuals

We do not alter news photos or video in ways that mislead. Illustrations and AI-generated images are labeled clearly.

Separation of advertising

Sponsored content carries a visible label. Advertisers do not review or approve editorial work.

Conflicts of interest

Staff are expected to disclose relationships that could influence their coverage and to step away from stories where a conflict exists.
